WATCH: An Introduction to the Colombian and Ethiopian Firms in our Sample

In this video, which we made for the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) Annual Conference, we walk through summary statistics of our samples in the first two of seven countries —Ethiopia and Colombia. We share the make-up of our sample of small firms in each country, breaking them down by gender and industry, and then, using the first few weeks of data, we take a very early look at asset ownership, use of financial tools, and record keeping preferences.
